Our Swinton Nursery has served the local community for a little over two decades now, originally opened on Fitzwilliam Street within a walled house and garden our first nursery has since expanded and moved to the secure grounds of Swinton Academy where we enjoy extensive indoor and outdoor space as well as the benefit of a large private car park for our parents to use which can be accessed from our Piccadilly Road entrance.

Swinton is set out over 6 main spaces, a reception and waiting area, two large internal rooms, a third triple height glass atrium room, a landscaped outdoor soft-surface area and a landscaped outdoor natural area.

In designing the spaces that our children use at Swinton we have chosen to create 3 separate dedicated rooms, one for our youngest children aged from birth to two years old, one for our two year old’s and one for our three year old’s onwards. We have done this so that we can tailor the resources and environment in each room appropriately to the age group which will use it to enable the best possible learning and developmental outcomes.

Lastly we are very lucky to have what we consider to be one of the best outdoor areas in the borough at our Swinton Nursery, with sections made up of artificial grass, bark pits, planting areas, soft-play surfaces, sheltered canopies, huge tractor tires and our towering adventure frame and slide.
