Charities We Support
As a group of Nurseries we are regularly approached by charities and fundraisers to participate in one off and seasonal fund raising events and charity drives, this over the years has included everything from our children participating in fancy dress days to our staff participating in sponsored walks. We do however have one primary Charity which we officially support on a regular basis through monthly donations, this is “The Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice” which you can read more about below.
The Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice
In their own words. The dream of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice began in 1998, with the vision to help families in this area who wanted an alternative to hospital care. Fundraising started when 11-year-old Richard and his mum wanted him to pass away at home. In 2004, your support made our dream come true and we began to build the hospice. On 19th September 2008, we opened the doors to the first families who needed us. Since then we have helped to support hundreds of children from across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and parts of North Lincolnshire.
