WELCOME TO RAWMARSH
Our Rawmarsh Nursery was originally opened on the grounds of Monkwood Primary School but with popularity and demand for places soon outgrowing the space available to us after two years we took the decision to relocate to our current nursery which is located centrally to Rawmarsh on the junction of “Dale Road”.
Our nursery on Dale Road occupies a purpose built detached community building which enjoys green space on all sides with landscaped artificial grass areas, natural areas and a variety of mature trees all within a safe and secure setting. The main nursery building is made up of two main halls which have been crafted to create dedicated spaces for our two year old’s and three year old’s plus respectively as well as a third smaller room which provides a dedicated cosy area for our children from birth to two years. The reason we have created 3 dedicated space for each age group is so that we can tailor the resources and environment in each room appropriately to the age group which will use it to enable the best possible learning and developmental outcomes.
One of the unique features at our Rawmarsh Nursery is that in addition to the large outdoor areas we have available for our older children there is also a private garden for the exclusive use of our Birth to two year old’s providing both natural grass, artificial grass, planting areas, mini slides and interactive resources to explore and enjoy along with the occasional teddy bears picnic in the warmer months.
OUR MANAGER
Natalie Dunn joined us in 2018 as Manager of our Rawmarsh Nursery. Coming to us from an existing management role within a successful Sheffield based nursery we had heard nothing but five star reviews about Natalie form other professionals within Early Years and knew we had to have her.
Natalie brought with her over 16 years of prior experience 9 of those years being in a Management role, originally progressing from Practitioner to Senior to Deputy Manager and finally to Nursery manager. Natalie also holds a “BA-Hons Degree in Early Years and Arts Level-6” and has been accredited in “Supporting Mental Health in Children and Young People”.
In her spare time Natalie enjoys keeping fit and whenever possible you will find her participating in Thai Boxing, we do however promise she is very Nice and not Scary at all which can be confirmed by her 4 Children the latest of which “Romeo” also attends our Rawmarsh Nursery.
Always bringing new ideas to Nursery such as our “Tapestry Learning Journal” Natalie has been and continues to be an amazing addition to our team.
